Learning something from a video means replaying the same few seconds until it sticks — and YouTube makes you drag the scrubber back every single time. Mark the points that matter, pick a block, and it repeats on its own while you practise.

Mark points on the timeline
Hit M while it plays to cut the timeline at the playhead. Every point you mark splits the video into blocks.
One block on repeat
Select a block and it loops until you pick another. That four-second lick plays a hundred times without you touching anything, and blocks you hide are skipped when stepping through.
Trim by ear
Drag a marker along the timeline, or nudge the block start and end in half-second steps until the loop sits exactly right.
Slow it down
Play the loop at 0.5x to hear what actually happens, then walk it back up to full speed as it lands.
Loops stay put
Markers are saved per video in your browser. Come back tomorrow, paste the same link, and your blocks are still there.
